Re: BIGMIkESOCAL

A quick YouTube search revealed only one of big mikes videos pirated by someone else.
Although he tracked down a 575 I don't believe he ever acquired one, he did have a 425 lighthouse horn.
Rumor has it he has sold all his horns except the reverberant chamber (NASA) horn.

Re: Lunkenheimer triple steam whistle

Can you post some photos??
Are the bowls of the whistles bronze or iron??
I though all branch sets used 5 inch whistles, the smaller using a 6,5,4 and the larger sets used 8,6,5 whistles.

Re: Wanted: Front Mount Clamp for A-200

Hi George,
I would use a Stauff clamp for this. It's an industrial pipe clamp with a plastic liner that won't mess up your horn.

Re: Advice needed on Kahlenberg T-2

Dan, There are no gaskets on kahlenberg horns, there are no diffuser plates either, so there's a tendency to "sandblast" a spot on the diaphragm where the air inlet is. Diaphragms are flat when new but cup slightly over time, you may want to clean and inspect. How long are the trumpets?? P...
