Re: Wanted: IEC Holden reproduction tag

I can't help at the moment, but I'm planning on having a run of IEC-HOLDEN and The Holden Co. tags made this fall.

Re: Roger Blough Horns

I recently honked my KM85 and 110 together on a boat, and they don't sound like the horns in that video. Those might be Kockums MKT models.

Re: WSOR 101's Nathan M3 diagnosis

Sounds like it's blowing, just really weak. Could be a cracked diaphragm or worn diaphragm seat. You'll have to disassemble it to figure out for certain.

Re: identifying brass horn

That's a Wabco marine horn. The first photos shows the Westinghouse logo, the second photo is a part number. It's similar to an E2, but has a side port instead of a bottom port.

Re: Leslie Chamber Question

Is the diaphragm seat level? Check it with a straight edge across the face of it.

Re: Length Vs Hertz Output Formula

It also depends on the shape of the bell; I don't think there is an easy way to calculate it. Might as well experiment with different lengths and see what you get.

Re: Leslie S5T 1956 ex-C&O

Whislin Bruce, A while back you talked alot about 5 chimes Used by the Cmstp+p and the CNW . You said somthing about a especially odd Leslie horn , (controlled by what you called a whoo valve) that went up and down the musical scale. Can you describe in a little more detail what this was all about,...
