1951 Nathan round-base, beautiful horn!!

When I tried to tell people on the old board that the scalloped style came out in late 1951, they scoffed me, pointing to dates stamped on the back of some horns. Look at the MS1 bracket on page 7. Although the bell might be RB, the bracket is definitely scalloped. Back then Aluminum was rather expensive, and Nathan found ways to save the metal used to cast these.

Matt, I have a few of these catalogs, plus I believe that Deane Ellsworth made and sold copies of this and I will check and see if he has anymore.
