1956 S5T

Postby redbird59 » Sat Jul 15, 2017 4:41 pm

I am selling my 1956 Tagged Leslie S5T with 2pc bells.

All 5 bronze tabs have screwed in nozzles and all in bare bronze. Later bronze tabs had a cast nozzle.

25/31 2peice bells none made after 1956, no cracks or bends and bell mouths looks great.

Small Square 37 era correct with Leslie stamping on bell mouth, no cracks or bends and bell mouth looks great.

Square 44 correct with Leslie stamping on bell mouth and R stamping, no cracks or bends and bell mouth looks great.

No Square 55 correct with Leslie stamping on bell mouth and R stamping, no cracks or bends and bell mouth looks great.

All 5 bells stripped 3 ready for paint 2 already painted aluminum color.

Manifold is a very nice blue color, new owner can either strip it or keep it as is. It is original and stamped "56" and "R" and tagged as it should be. No bends, cracks or repairs, all surfaces are true.

This is truly my favorite horn however it sits on my floor and never gets used. It would be nice if it was the crown in someone's Leslie collection. Please let me know if you're interested I will post pictures. If no interest I will finish it the way it left the factory in 1956 with safety wires.

***I will not accept low ball offers, finding a tagged manifold or a 2 piece 25 are not easy***

If you read this far and interested post a reply here because I don't normally check PM.
