Jumped Trains

Postby Shay5fan » Tue Oct 28, 2014 10:08 pm

Y'all may remember me as mainly a whistle nut on the other "Train" before it's horrible "Derailment". I've been checking every so often to see if they resurrected it, but found everyone found another "Train"(here) to ride, so I have "Climbed Aboard". ;)

Good to have another good whistle /horn nut. Its a race to see who is nuttier in a civilized way. I think turning K horns and whistle bowls in the lathe is pretty goofy nutty. Well that's us.

Hey Wade don't forget there are nuts that re-tune Grover horns and make realistic sounding horns from plumbing partsImage

Hey, I still run my PVC 2 chime horn on my truck and it's a force to recon with. It's been up there for a combined total of about a year and is still louder than the stock air horn on the dump truck at my job. It sits right above my head on the truck, so it really does hurt on full pressure. It appears ED K has given his Avalanche a Red paint job. Someone needs to get him over here. Gonna build some accurate whistle replicas out of some scraps of PVC sewage pipe we use.(Clean!!)

I emailed Ed K and he has added the board to his favorites. Will hopefully post up soon.
