Ibuki E150 Electrical Help

Postby Bradygoldminer » Sun Dec 02, 2018 2:34 pm

Hello,

I recently restored my Ibuki E150 magnet horn. I was wondering how to make it sound off. It is DC 24 Volts And 16 Amps.
We looked at AC to DC converters so we bought one but it was not the right "ampage" We cant find any converters to suite the horn
Any suggestions?

Thanks, Brady

Take two car batteries and wire them in series. You can disconnect them and charge with a normal battery charger.

24 volt DC is the standard electrical voltage of most large buses in North America. While you may have to look around a bit there are 24 volt alternators, jump packs and battery chargers available for buses.

Thanks for the information, Matt. That's very helpful.
