GMD1 bell details

Postby the former deafrn » Sun Jun 11, 2017 6:17 pm

Anyone out there have the straight dope on how the original CN GMD1 bell assemblies were set up? They were - at least as far as I know - rough-cast bronze bells in a trapezoidal mount, and being CN locomotives, they had Viloco BR-113 moisture separators spitting away atop the bell ringer's motor housing/stud.

What I am really looking for is some sort of GMD equivalent of the EMD parts list B2954, which would show the components and the part numbers, but if anyone has some other solid skinny on them, that's good too.
