For sale is this Nathan Airchime M3 Locomotive Airhorn. This airhorn has been in my collection since 2001 and was purchased directly from the railroad with a clear title and was removed from a Grand Trunk Western Railroad locomotive. If you note the paint colors, olive green, orange and blue, are an indication of the different paint schemes used through the years by the GTW. Olive Green the color used by the Canadian National Railway / Grand Trunk Western from the 1950's era. Orange and Blue are the colors used by the Grand Trunk Western from the 1980's era. The Nathan M series horns have been out of production for over 20 years and they are getting harder and harder to find as each year passes. This horn does work and is very loud, you will not be disappointed by the loudness or its sound. The custom built spanner wrench and new gaskets you see in the photos are all included should you want to disassemble the horn for servicing or painting. Asking $1475, price is negotiable. Any question please ask. Forums would only let me upload three photos per post, so added the additional photos as replies below.

Shouldn't they all be the same colour?

All I can tell you is that when I stripped the paint from the horn I observed several different colored layers of paint being removed that had accumulated, and once I got down to the metal surface what you see is what I ended up. This horn has never been media blasted, all I did was remove the paint with paint stripper...
